How accurate is KORRA? A transparent explanation of our measurement precision, validation methodology, and known limitations.
KORRA's dual-photo mode (front + side smartphone images) produces body measurements with ±1–3cm accuracy for most body dimensions. The estimation mode (height-only input) produces measurements with approximately ±5cm accuracy. Actual precision varies based on pose, clothing, lighting, and camera distance.
Stand in front of your phone. Capture a front view and a side view. KORRA's AI extracts precise measurements from both images and generates a 3D body model.
Enter your height and KORRA estimates your body measurements using anthropometric data models. Quick and useful when photos aren't available.
For best results in dual-photo mode, follow these guidelines:
Stand straight, arms slightly away from body, feet shoulder-width apart. Avoid leaning or tilting.
Wear fitted clothing or undergarments. Loose or baggy clothing adds volume and reduces measurement accuracy.
Stand 2–3 meters from the camera. Your full body must be visible in both photos.
Use an evenly lit environment. Avoid harsh shadows that can obscure body outline detection.
Use clear, focused photos. Blurry or low-resolution images affect the AI's ability to detect edges.
A plain, uncluttered background helps the AI detect your body outline more precisely.
KORRA is powerful, but not perfect. Here are the situations where accuracy may be reduced:
KORRA's accuracy claims are based on internal testing comparing AI-extracted measurements against manual tape measurements. Our validation process includes:
